Examinations

We offer exams in Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz and Musical Theatre with Asia Pacific Dance Association, and Acrobatic exams with Acrobatic Arts. This means that our classes follow carefully structured training programs to ensure the safety of our dance students and age-appropriate class content.

We focus on exam preparation in terms 1 and 2 and whilst exam participation is optional, we recommended it to all our students. The whole process from class to the presentation day is a fantastic way to build up confidence that directly translates to confidence at school presentations, job interviews and auditions for example. Exam results are a great way to keep track of your dancer’s progress.

Performances

A big part of dance training is learning through performance and at Dance Pointe we love to see our students shine on stage! We offer End of Year Concert performance in Term 4.

Students interested in performance opportunities throughout the year, register your interest to join our Performance team. Competition solos, duos and trios are available upon request.
