Toddler Dance Program
Does your little one love to dance? Dance Pointe offers fun and engaging toddler classes in Brisbane Southside, specialising in early childhood dance for over 20 years. Our programs are thoughtfully designed by our studio owner and qualified dance teacher, Miia, specifically for today’s young dancers.
With small class sizes (maximum 10 little dancers), each child receives individual attention to develop coordination, confidence, and correct dance technique in a nurturing environment – helping them fall in love with dance.

Ballet Buddies (2-3yrs)
Ballet Buddies is a wonderful dance class for toddlers, introducing them to the joys of movement and music. The class incorporates creative exercises and fun props, offering more than just an introduction to Ballet.
We’ll also explore the basics of Creative Movement, Jazz, and Acro Dance. It’s a fantastic way to build confidence, prepare for independent learning, and have heaps of fun!
For boys and girls aged 2 to 3 who love to dance.
We encourage one adult per little dancer to join in class activities, helping them have the best time ever! Once your little dancer feels confident participating independently, they’re ready to progress to the Ballet Stars program.
There is no class uniform for this class. Wear anything comfortable and dance barefoot or wear non-slip socks.

Ballet Stars (3-4yrs)
Ballet Stars is an enchanting dance class for kindy-aged children, introducing the basics of dance and the joy of creative movement. These classes introduce ballet technique while exploring the fundamentals of creative movement, jazz, and acro dance.
Your little dancer will love our themed classes! We’ve danced through Winter Wonderland and Jungle Adventure, as well as beloved stories like Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid. New themes and activities are always on the way. Come join the dancing fun!
For boys and girls starting pre-kindy or kindergarten.
One adult per dancer is invited to stay in the studio to watch their young dancer twirl, skip, and plié. Each term concludes with an in-studio performance for parents/carers.
Once your little dancer is ready for school, they can continue their journey in our Junior Program.
There is no class uniform for this class. Wear anything comfortable and dance barefoot or wear non-slip socks. For performances, Ballet Stars are required to wear Ballet shoes.

Once dancers begin prep at school, they progress into our Junior Program to grow confidence, skills and creativity.

Performances
Performance is a special part of dance, and we love watching our little dancers light up on stage.
Every little dancer has the opportunity to join our End of Year Concert, giving them a magical first experience of performing and celebrating all they’ve learned throughout the year.
