Looking for a new, fun way to keep active? Always wanted to dance, but never got around to it? Have you danced before and would love to get back into it? No matter what your background is, you’ll love Dance Pointe’s inspiring Adult classes. These low impact, high intensity classes are great for you to keep your body moving and mind active. Our Adult classes are open level classes suitable from beginners to adults with none or some previous dance experience. For more advance adult dancers we recommend you to join our Intermediate/Advanced level classes.

We have restructured the way we offer Adult Classes and will be offering 5 week courses in Ballet, Hip Hop and Tap in 2019. No registration fees, just 5 classes in the style of dance you love and enjoy with the option of taking another course of classes straight after. Classes run throughout the year during the school terms. NO classes run on public holidays.
5 week course, one class per week – $85*
*For courses that are not fully booked, casual attendance is $20 per class.
  • Ballet

    Classical Ballet increases your fitness, flexibility and co-ordination through exercises based on strong technique and discipline. It is a great low impact workout and for rediscovering your good posture. It’s never too late to learn the Ballet discipline. We have Open Level and Total Beginners Ballet classes available.   • Hip Hop

    Hip Hop is fun, fast and anyone can do it. It does not require any formal dance training or level of flexibility. All you need is a pair of running shoes and a little attitude. We will mix that together with some cutting edge choreography and just watch the fun begin. Our Adult Hip Hop classes will return in 2020.

  • Tap

    Tap dance is a fun and rhythmical form of dance that encourages musicality and co-ordination. Come and learn a routine that sounds ’right’ as Tap is all about making music with your feet. Our Adult Tap classes will return in 2020.

Wear any comfortable exercise wear and dance appropriate shoes; Ballet shoes for Ballet, indoor or clean sneakers for Hip Hop and Tap shoes for Tap. Please note baggy items will obstruct teacher to see you body alignment properly and therefore being unable to give you corrections. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle and a sweat towel.
