Hi, I’m Miia Savage, Dance Pointe owner and principal since 2012. My mission is to offer a fun, creative and safe environment that students will enjoy, be inspired by and most importantly to offer a place to learn the proper dance technique. Promoting good manners and Healthy and Active Lifestyle is also important to me.

Dance has been a big part of my life for over 30 years now. As soon as I could stand I was swaying, swirling and jumping to the music. Growing up in Finland, I studied Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary dance. After becoming a professional dancer and performing in musicals and dance productions in Finland, I moved to London to gain more experience and to study my Master’s Degree in Dance. I have also concluded a year of teacher studies in Finland that included behavioural aspects and dance teacher studies in UK with International Dance Teachers Association. For five years I danced, choreographed and taught dance in busy and inspiring London before moving to Australia and I’m so excited to share the joy of dancing with you at Dance Pointe!
